.........falling over after being drunk isn't the only problem a man faces when he has had a few too many beers! Hence the symbolism of the street light in the background. (The inclusion of the street light is obvious to me.....especially with the title Brewer's Droop...., but may be not to some) GEESH!

This is priceless and it actually reminds me of a town in Italy that I have yet to visit. The town is built on a rather steep set of tiers and if you've had a few too many you can actually stumble off the road and fall onto someone's roof...I can just about imagine the sound of things going bump in the night and not scaring anyone...quite the opposite in fact, that bump in the night would just inspire the home owners to grumble and possibly yell..."Sleep it off and we'll put the ladder up tomorrow!" Or something like that. At any rate, this is a stunning capture...the sign is so much a part of its environment and there's an obvious need for it which is...well...amusing.
LOL! I would have thought it warned of a trip hazard. Perhaps a curb or something. I like your version much better! :)
