Description
One year ago today I signed up on Renderosity. It took eight months before I ever posted an image in the galleries. Since then I have had the most enjoyable experience of getting to know the work of so many of you, my friends. And don't worry, if you have read this far, you are my friend!
Since I only have time to produce one or two images a week, I can't dedicate images to so many of you I would like to, and so this one is for all of you my friends! I say thanks to you all:
THANK YOU for welcoming me into this wonderful community of artists, aspiring artists and just plain doodlers like me!
THANK YOU for tolerating my many "Marvelous," "Beautiful." "Wonderful," "Fantastic," and "Awesome" comments followed by any number of exclamation marks! I may not be eloquent in my praise of your works, but I mean every word!
THANK YOU for all of your kind comments, favorites, gifts, and advice. Your support and encouragement mean a great deal to me.
AND SO, to you my friends, I raise my cup and invite you to join me in a toast to art and artists, to YOU! BRAVO!

Congratulations on one year! Only 8 months to post? I'm a bigger chicken then you I signed up in 2003 and didn't post anything until Aug 2009, hmmm only 7 years. Glad you finally took the plunge. Your art is a joy to see and your comments are always encouraging. This is a great welcoming scene it certainly expresses your words in artform. Well done.
Wow - congratulations, Marco! And this is a brilliant artwork to celebrate! He looks great, warm and friendly, welcoming his friends to enjoy a happy evening at his table, filled with good food, good brew, and lots of music and stories! Excellent! And I agree 100% with you about this community. I've only been here for about 9 months, and have been enjoying it more than any online community I've ever been part of. Keep up the great work, my friend! Here's looking forward to many more years!

Wonderful image. Well written toast. Once you start posting images it gets addictive. But I agree the problem is finding time (and also hoping you hard drive doesn't crash...twice. Sigh!).
