Description
From Boeing's Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington.
The jet engine on display was from an M-21 Blackbird. Of course the part I liked best was the plexi cover the museum had put over the front in order to keep dust and little fingers out! I got loads of reflection shots off that.
(Yes, an M-21. You can see a link to the museum's page on the plane here if you're Rob, or if you're just curious. That's the same plane I posted a picture of a couple days ago that was just the underneath part.) :P
There was an Amelia Earhart exhibit nearby, and ... ummm ... a plane hanging from the ceiling. It looks like a very nice plane! It's probably something really important that I don't know anything about.
That place is a photographer's paradise, even if you don't like airplanes. All those angles and shapes and colors! Such variety! I had a great time.

In a funny way, this looks like one of those machines Chip keeps writing about in that museum in that country, Ukur I think, or is it Agara? You are right about the colors and the shapes and the reflections. This is a super photograph that I can lose myself inside of very easily, I really like the metal and plexiglass and the way one is so different from the other. This rocks.

WOW! This is brilliant...as always I'm struck by your sense of color and awareness of light/shadow/reflection. By what's shown (and not shown) here, especially in relation to Corey's comment, I do have to wonder if this is a vital part of aeronautical anatomy, or a bit of an Üküré machine trapped in a museum when it should be out in the wild, breeding and doing whatever else those things do. But all of that aside, this is just brilliant and evokes quite a lot; I love the way its just detailed and ambiguous enough to let the mind wander. Yeah, this rocks!

Yes, to what everybody else has said above:) You have nailed it! I took pictures of this but you captured its' Ükürian essence...while I got only engineering mechanics. After a bit of study, your superb reflection is revealing the Boeing classic Model 80A. LOL @ Helle labeling you the "Reflection Lady". How true...:D

It has a curious, ornate Victorian look to it. Odd, considering it is part of a modern type vehicle.
