Description
I watched this Dragonfly for at least an hour and never saw it land. I finally attempted to get a shot of him in the air. I eventually managed to get several shots but none that I am really proud of. This was the best of the lot. I am still working on an ID.

This is probably one of the most challenging photographic subject to try and capture - a dragonfly in flight. This is a fantastic capture. Well done!
That's a tough shot! I typically take about 150 to get maybe 2 shots that I keep, but I'm still not getting the quality I want. I like the wing motion in this one.
That's a pretty good shot for something that zips around like they do.

Lee, I set up a tripod last year and was long past an hour and 52 tries before I got an in flight photo worth sharing. Excellent photo to me knowing the difficulty factor it is amazing.
