Description
So, although my previous image wasn't too bad,
it was really bugging me that it lacked snow on his gear, so I went back to the drawing board.
So a few long days later of redoing, rerendering and tons of experimentation.. here is one that I am happy with.

Much better Sandy! Don't know how you did that but I would love to see a tutorial on how you did. The snow on his clothes is particularly impressive. Not only is the scene more realistic but the black and white contrast really makes the character pop out of the scene. Good on you for not being satisfied and not giving up.
