Description
Tomorrow, there will be a fight. The old adage "He who gets there fustest with the mostust" still applys. The first to arrive get to pick the battlefield. It is always best to grab the high ground before the other guy gets here. From the crest of a small hill, the Captain and his Sergeant are deciding where to best deploy their troops to engage the hostiles the following morning.

Alejandro Delgado aka adh3d is one of my favotite Renderosity merchants. He makes great products of high quality, which he sells at very reasonable prices. Both the Sergeant and Officer US Cavalry uniforms are by him--as well as the well-equipped horse. Here's link to his store. You'll be glad you visited it:

Both skinmats for the soldiers are "The Captain" by ExprssnImg, also a Rendo merchant.
Background terrain is by Karen Verba (Cornucopia3d).

My postings and comments on others' renders will be less frequent for a while. I had an operation on my left shoulder several days ago, leaving me to peck one-handed--or should I say one-fingered?--which is very time consuming and frustrating for a touch-typist like myself. Everything seems to be healing nicely but will take three to six months to recover fully.
Thanks for all your visits and comments on previous posts. All are appreciated.
