The thing that I find attractive about this plane is the way the engine sits in that egg-shaped opening in the front.

This plane is at the Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field in Everett, Washington. It's airworthy, and is scheduled to fly three times this summer.

Great photo! In 1972 I was at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Miss. The Air Force was flying these huge fighters from the base constantly, as trainers... for Iranian fighter pilots!
