Description
I have placed an image of this shipwreck after our visit last year too. That one was taken in much stormier seas.
She was sold as scrap metal and being towed to her new home when she broke lose in a storm and found her last resting place here - a couple of kilometers south of Henties Bay in Namibia.
I must admit - she didn't really look worse for wear after a year. I tried to combine the image of her with the interesting sand patterns of the two toned beach sand!
Thank you for your valued comments and favs on my upload "Something" of yesterday!
Stay well!

Fantastic shot - excellent capture
Excellent capture! Nice composition.
A sad view but an excellent capture
Holy mackerel, a reprise of The Wreck of the Mary Deare! Awesome DOF, composition, textures and postwork in this awesome capture, Carin, plus interesting info!
What a wonderful capture! It makes me think of a wreck down at Ocean Shores when I was a kid. At low tide we could walk out there. Great memories!
Great capture Carin!
excellent shot Carin ! fantatic POV and depth great info too
Love the DOF from the sand, through the waves to Zeila. She must be in better shape then they thought. Still looks pretty good after a year. Dana
