Description
Back again to Science Fiction - vintage Sci-Fi - and back again to Bryce... ;)
Something like WWII Battle of Britain but with a Sci-Fi pulp twist. :)
The foregroud fightes are inspired to the work of Warren Ellis for his comics Ministry of Space.
Rendered and modelled in Bryce 6, color correction and effects in Photoshop 6.
The original file is 2545x3636 pixels.

Fantastic scene!!!!
Really nice mix of 30s and 50s there. You can just imagine the big red one buzzing with energy and the roar of the rockets from the fighters... Fabby!

Very nice! I love the combination of air warfare and the retro-future!
This is a great image...has a very 1950's sci-fi look to it that appeals to me. As always your models are excellent and the sky is magnificent. I can see this on a book cover. A definite fave for me! Well done!!!

Looks like an Analog SciFi magazine cover from the early 1960s. The sky came out really well.
