Description
Descending from cruising altitude on the approach to Kansas City from Seattle today.
We had been cruising at something over 30,000 feet and here we have dropped down to about 20,000 feet revealing all new layers and dimensions.

I bet it was hard to leave. Feels very warm and reassuring like a cocoon. Gorgeous light and Beautiful shot.
WOW! This rocks! I love the upper cloud deck almost reflected (at least in terms of the 'dead space' in the lower cloud deck, as if you're flying through...well...layers of a complex atmosphere! In-flight photos are always wonderful and exciting, and so full of bizarre potential, and you captured that perfectly here! This is really top notch work.
The secret world between...great capture, Bill!
Beautiful view at 20,000 feet. Everything, even the ominous clouds above, look so fluffy. The bottom layer looks like a soft billowy cotton bed.
SUPERB !
WOW.. awesome shot and view. Thanks for sharing.
