Description
These insects are in a ball of amber. The age of the amber is undetermined.
The photograph was taken using direct daylight. No postwork.
If you wish, use the photo as wallpaper. The warm amber colors are quite pleasing.

WOW.....This is very interesting my friend, great shot, excellent photo!
I always remember Amber from high school. She was a little bit buggy too, but that's a different story. Very cool capture!
wow Allen...fantastic image...i love how the light goes across the piece!
interesting...
WOW! That is a great capture. Well done. :)
I have always enjoyed amber. It really is one of those things from the past that holds the past so YOU can hold the past. :-) Very lovely and probing shot.
Wow! Wonderful image. I love how the light interacts with the amber and the imbeded inspects add details. Great work.
Excellent capture Allen. This has a real sci-fi feel to it, looks very alien, great macro!
Nice shot Mate.. Amber holds a lot of static electricity, it makes My hair stand on end..!!
marvelous!
WONDERFUL!
Pretty amazing!
Wow Allen, This is a gorgeous photo. I love the red and gold hues. You really captured this!

Super macro.
Great macro , Allen ! Good weekend to you and Lea, a big hug! Mario
Deux insectes ! Impressionnant. Belle image.
Oh Allen, I love the detail that can be so clearly seen in this! The insects show up much better. I still can't determine what they are. For some reason they make me think of mosquitos and flies. Perhaps a hybrid? Once again, I love the lighting. How large is this amber ball, if you don't mind my asking? I think this too is a wonderful photo.
very cool and brilliant clors.
From the thumb, I thought it must be a fractal...still seems so....very lovely abstract forms surrounding the imbedded critter. Beautiful shaded. Love it.
