Description
While I continue to think, work, and build some more knowledge to work on my Keepers animations (I expect it will be a long process) I wanted to do a jungle landscape of Urnan.
I used Carrara and the surface replicator to replicate probably near 30,000 tree instances.
Used Carrara's lens flare to accentuate the sunrise glare and both cloud objects and volumetric clouds for the atmosphere.
Definitely inspired somewhat by the landscapes in Avatar and numerous ones I've seen created by Vue users.
Hope you like it.

Very nice. Great lighting.
30,000 tree instances? Wow, I doubt my system could handle making that many instances, but I haven't mucked with it much yet. Very nice landscape!
Beautiful. Time well spent.

Excellent stuff. Love that lighting.
Wonderful - guess I gotta keep pluggin away with C7, still can't get much out of it LOL!
What kind of rig do you have? I've got a quad core and if I try to do more than a couple thousand trees it crashes on me.
