And here we have Dave doing his best impersonation of the Bower Bird--those are the birds that build giant cheerios out of twigs and stuff, right? Where was I when this was taken? I must have walked right past it. That puddle adds something extra and I like it a lot. I think it makes the texture stand out, and Dave gives a good idea of the size. That's one big Cheerio...big enough for people to carve stuff onto it. What a great shot! It's warm and alive.

WOW! Dave looks so at home here! You can tell everyone was having fun that day; that whole museum campus seemed like a playground for grownups. I love the light in this picture and the way you caught Dave as if our intrepid explorer in the rockin' shades has just discovered the lost treasure of...well...Grant Park? This is a very "alive" picture and very fun! I don't have a single shot of this either! Funny how that works, I remember seeing it. I think I might have been too busy balancing things on my head. I'm weird like that. I love this. It's so completely beautiful but also fun! Great stuff!

Actually this is rather interesting, I remember you asking me to walk in, and as I was checking out exactly how I was going to do that without getting a soak-er, you must've nija'd this shot. The carvings show up just great in this, just an FYI, there were some inside too!

I so loved that thing. I have some cool shots of the individual glyphs,and there is Dave he is such a poser. That's ok I love him anyway. This is a really cool shot. I remember this day like it was yesterday. This day made my year!

Chip said it well...these grounds appear to be a playground for grown-ups. The objects, such as this glyph bearing donut, displayed around the Chicago Art Museum...all seem to defy simple explanation. But isn't art supposed to do that? Leave some unanswered questions in your mind to draw you back time and time again to hopefully discover the true meaning of the piece? Well, no question about Dave or the puddle. Well seen and captured. Remarkable that you were the only one to photograph this neat "thingy". Am I surprised? Noooooo:)
