Great job with the lighting and composition, but I have a question. Does that go with mushrooms? ;D Excellent studio shot!

Looks delectable!

Flown in directly from Hawaii! Remarkable clarity, lighting effects and composition in this capture of the multitextured pineapple sitting amidst a circle of fruit, Bill.

I was wondering yesterday if you did another shot...and yes, here it is. Excelent centre piece.

Well now I'm going to have to go out and buy one, you've whet my appetite for this tasty fruit! Well done photo. : )

love to eat this fruit for sur and it do look good

Excellent colors and composition. Great image!!!

Now we can see why some grenades were called 'pineapples'. Love the jam made from these. Cheers, Clive

HA! This reminds me of a Laurie Anderson performance in which she (as a game show host) asked: "Que es mas macho, Pineapple o knife?" I love the way she mixed English and Spanish. I was just a wee little lad and immensely impressed with myself as I knew that the question was a pun because "pineapple" and "grenade" were the same thing in terms of weapons...thus a pineapple would be far more macho and effective than a knife. Needless to say, whenever I see a pineapple, I ask myself that question...even if it's Dole pineapple slices in a can! Go figure. Okay, now that I'm done rambling, I really like this picture. It's so vivid and warm and fresh. I also love the pineapple texture. The light is fantastic and the colors are so incredibly alive. This is great! I love it!

Yes i am sure it is good....so it looks :-) Wonderful shot.

What a delicious shot! A couple of years back we visited the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and there were locals that sold pineapples at little carts. You would buy the pineapple and then these chaps would peel it for you! First they would cut of the leaves so that just a short "stick" remains - strong enough to hold on to. Then they would peel the pineapple in one single peel, at a slight diagonal angle and the next thing - this perfectly peeled pineapple on a stick to eat like an ice-cream. I was gobsmacked by the skill of these folks!

cool colors treatment and composition, like the portrait format

Beautiful to look at , but I have to confess I eat a lot of this fruit..canned! I can't be bothered with the preparation!

wonderful work!!

WONDERFUL!!!! I love pineapple.....

I think maybe the saturation is a little high for what I would have done but the arrangement and the quality of the shot is outstanding!
