Description
My quest for the perfect wave foto continues. This one is about 10 feet high, taken from a very safe distance. For those of you who were worried---I do NOT take any chances. I know the power of the ocean and believe me, I want to live to tell the tale. WHEN I finally do get the shot I'm after, it will be from a very safe spot. As you can see, these breakers roll in several at a time, even surfers don't go here. It would be like getting caught in a washing machine; you'd get agitated, rinsed, spun and wrung. Not a good thing.

The water looks like molten metal. Heavy metal at that:) I find this fascinating to see how they do roll-in in pairs.

These days it's not the waves you have to worry about....it's the crazy drivers on the way to the beach.
