Description
I have captured this beautiful building in Swakopmund, Namibia. There is still a huge German population in Namibia and especially Swakopmund and Windhoek have many buildings in the old German style. I'm not sure what this building is but I liked it enough to photograph! (Can't believe I'm still uploading Namibia pictures from 2009 and I'm almost going again! Just 5 weeks to go!)
Thank you so very much for your wonderful comments and favs on my upload "What Will Matter" of yesterday! I truly appreciate your support!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

Great architecture. Having lived in germany for three years, it looks very much like my second home away from home. Excellent presentation...are you sure you haven't loaded this reversed? Looks like the street signs are on the wrong side of the road. (Wink, wink)
Fantastic image. Beautiful building, colors and superb sky.
Nice shot of a beautiful property, bravo.

very grand, great shot!!
A gorgeous building, and a wonderful capture!
Very well done, Carin. The closest I got was Luderitz, wonderful buildings there too. Hope you have a closer shot of the doorway and window too! Cheers, Clive
Clive, I did not! blush I am planning on photographing more of the architecture when I go again in mid Feb!

Beautiful building, it looks so clean & bright.
Nice building, picture.
Interesting building. Great use of colors. Looks like HDR.
Beautiful work!
A wonderful find, and beautifully presented here.
great capture!
Lovely colouring in this great capture of this beautiful old building.
Superlative POV and overall color contrast in this fine fotograph, Carin.
What a wonder! I love the sense of color and other-world-ness in this: other world in the sense that it ain't the USA. The crispness and clarity is wonderful and well...this is most definitely an exceptionally gorgeous shot.
I can see the German influence but it has enough of the African in it to know it must come from there. This reminds me of a building I would expect to see in an old movie.
I love these old buildings. Could be straight from Bavaria. And interesting details like Atlas(?) and the six dancing children. I would also like to know what it is. Beautiful shot with wonderful color saturation and perfect cloudy background.
What a wonderful building! I hope you'll take some architectural detail shots for me when you're there this year! :D Liefde baie! :X
The color and light here is just gorgeous---can't wait for more!!
beautiful...
