Description
I have a friend who shoots seriously tall buildings from the bottom up. I shoot them from the top down.
This is living proof that what you see depends on where you stand.
Yes, a miniscule part of Chicago as seen from the 99th floor of the Sears/Willis Tower.

amazing how the "shorter" buildings look so small
I like to look down too.
Amazing view of this architectural feast, you'll never see another one like this again, similar maybe ? ... but with so many different combinations of concrete, glass, steel and colour, plus imaginations by architects available, the mind boggles !
Very nice. I always get annoyed by the glass windows when I am trying to take these shots! You have done a great job Bill.
Very inspiring. I love cityscapes and this is great.
This is so crisp and brilliant! Those colors are amazing. The contrasts are really fantastic and since I like urban shots, this is warms the cockles of my city-boy heart. I just have one question: I've seen diagrams of the heart, but I have yet to find the cockles. Where exactly are they, and also, how many of them are there? Great work.
Looks like a PC board. Excelent city shot.
gorgeous view on this impressive buildings. a most beautiful architecture impression.
Stunning picture. It's amazing how many shapes and colours it shows.
Egad, what an electic array of buildings and skyscrapers in this awesome capture, Bill! All that geometry and window repetition run amok! Extremely cool POV, clarity and perspective in this one. These still remind me of a circuit board, though.
You know how much I love this building! Wow ... what a fantastic shot ... I could sit and stare at it all day! The curves and lines and colors are amazing. You make me want to go back there again and go higher than the 12th floor of the hotel! LOL!
I do like them from up looking done, Bill, smile
What a fantastic capture. I like also to see it from another angle like this.
