a happy new year to you and yours also my friend..
happy new year to you too, helle - very fine image!
a beautiful textured, simple & touching painting for all your friends. I see those wonderful mediterranean arches again, those rounded doorways & simple beautiful sets of roofs & old building peaks. And you've placed them against one of your beautiful textured backgrounds, with gentle pinks & violets & blues against a white sky, and a wreath of lights traveling around it. It's simple & beautiful & eloquent. It feels like paper-cutouts & painting & even a lithograph. Thank you dear friend! And all the same to you and your wonderful family. A beautiful image to greet the new year, and another creative joy from your hand...

Wow, this is beautiful. I love those almost abstracts too. I wish to thank you for all the comments you made on every posting I made and your kind words. A very happy new year for you too and let's go on with taking pictures in the new year 2010.
Your art is always so appealing to my eye...and my eye says, "Thank you Helle for the New Years wishes." I am staying home too:)
Same here, Helle, a quiet evening for two...smile... may you have a healthy, creative and happy new year too!
I hope that you have a happy and creative new year as well! Like you, I'm avoiding hectic parties and such and I'm at home listening to music and looking at artwork. That's always a good thing, especially when it's like this! I love the textures and colors here and the fact that it also reminds me of the finest fine art I've seen gracing gallery and museum walls! This is fantastic. Happy New Year!

A lovely bright festive looking image and I hope you have a very happy and creative year too.
It's never too late, to send someone good wishes for the NEW YEAR, evenso we are already here in Australia at the end of day 3! Hope you had a nice start, ours was pretty quiet, the way we like it. I love your 2D art, very imaginative and colourful, especially with those blue & green dots floating around those buildings. well done... Cheers BB
