Description
Having lived here in North Wiltshire now for the best part of 40 odd years it took some time to get used to the big skies and large open downland with so few trees, but I do think it has it's very own beauty I hope to share with you in this series.

Gosh, Danny! You make it look so wonderful! i'm still at the stage you were at when you moved there, I prefer a more intimate landscape where I live. But this is a masterpiece.

Funny, but when I think of the english countryside, I think of rolling hills covered in grass...a dotting of trees...warming sun burning off morning dew and a gentle breeze that strokes my cheek. Ah, but let's not forget the smell of green grass and open space... I want to see more...

What a gorgeous vista. I'm used to mountains and water and hills, and it's taken me time to appreciate this sort of view as well, but now I just love it. Beautifully done!
