Description
Etiquette demands that as a lady, no matter how savage, the dragon must force herself into a pair of shoes before descending on the town to burn and cause general mayhem...
Private joke with the bestest beastliest dragon I know. For Angel's hilarious take(s) on the subject, see A trip to town and Village Pillage *Pt 2*

Hi Craig sweet and fun full of smiles wonderful work warm hug, Linda
Roflmao! Its a curse. A 'female' thing. I must have shoes, even if I don't like wearing them. Then again, at least they're not cats... Lol! Thanks, Craig. Glad you finally got some sleep. (snort) ;)
Well of course! I always wear shoes when I cause mayhem! lol

Great dedication, wonderful image!
I don't have the shoe thing myself, but I understand the need to look "fierce" when setting out on some major undertaking. What's more fierce than a kickin' pair of heels. I love this piece!
Fantastic scene!!!

This scene!
She'll set the town alight with those on. Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
One must always accessorize properly. Superbly funny!
Now that's fun!
She'll be strutting and puffing in those pretty little things, though her feet will be aching tomorrow.
Well done.
Lol, great serial going with you two, producing fantastic scenes. What fun!
That is good, wonderful
LOL everyone knows heels make your legs look better and taller is thinner. haha
you know Craig, I don't know a thing about 3D rendering, I just know it takes forever and involves much compiling & constructing in addition to art. I had a hard time with Adobe Illustrator, so I can imagine what pieces like these are like...This is a wholly organic & modulated work, and feels like one of yours because it's got a sly & fine sense of humor, your dragon is struggling but she's subtle, a good comic actress (not too broad, not going for the 'big laughs' but--how do you say it--staying in character, lol). And it's got your consummate sense of atmosphere & completeness as well. She seems really well done, I love how her wings dominate the upper portion, they loom over her. And she's all crouched and frustrated (and you lit up the land right under her for emphasis). But your background is big & sweeping, with that big beautifully lit sky. I've seen things like that in your other work, and it's good painting--ie, very fine modulations, melding of blues & grays, etc. Over all, it's a big sweeping piece for something tongue-in-cheek, and the tongue-in-cheek works without a hitch. It's a pleasure to be back here again! Hope your summer is going well & you had a fine holiday season. And hope your 2010 will be splendid for you & those you love. (Hey, it's minus 15C here half the days...there's no excuse for this weather. Frankly I'm writing a letter...)
