Great stuff. I like the rolling feeling of the hill and the shape of the little tree in the foreground. I also like the effect of the snow on the fallen logs under the tree. I agree with you that the muted tones are wonderful. All in all a lovely scene photographed very well indeed.

Very Nice!. Can really tell which wy the wind blew. Like the grass under the larger tree and the contrasting bear spots inside the tree accent the snow well.

I've heard of a U-boat, a U-haul and a U-turn, but never a U-Four. Terrific contrast and textures in this shot, Fenton, seemingly taken by a skier on his way down the slopes.
