Description
A female Cinnyris chalybeus (Southern double-collared sunbird) feeding on a Leonotis Leonurus (Wild Dagga). Something else has been feeding on the lower leaves...
Does the plant not look like something from a Dr. Seuss book?

Total charming!! Super admission.
Outstanding capture Clive.
It is great to see the bird on the plant! My neighbour grew a bed of these but alas no sunbirds appeared in Dorset.

What a wonderful capture Clive! You must have been lightning fast! Mmmm - I saw the leaves are a bit "holy"...
Spectacular shot of this bird...a sap sucker I'm assuming with a beak like that. The composition is extremely interesting and, of course, well done.
