Description

Winter impression, when the frost has taken hold of the country. Where there is still some open water, ducks and other "waterfowls" will gather in numbers. However, the herons present may soon find the place too crowded and agitated for them to fish, and they'll soon look for a better place, maybe going a bit to the south - or another scene on my computer :) Vue 7.4 Complete render, Poser birds (DAZ). Some modified Vue trees and some Onyx ones, textured in Vue. Levels/colour correction, "lensglare" effect (maybe I overdid it this time), framing & signature in Photoshop. It's not overdone I don't think. You've really captured that frosty feeling in this one. Poor herons are going to freeze their tailfeathers off!!

Thanks for your comments so far. For "faroutsider": Actally there are some variations in the height of the reeds, but I agree the appearance is a little to regular anyway. - I noticed it when the full-size render was finished. Well, the scene was very heavy to render, and won't be corrected :) Thanks again. - Lars
