Description
The Bean**, one of those pieces of art you either love or hate. People touch it, lie under it for foto ops, walk around it, laugh at it, but they don't ignore it. This is just one of several shots I got--if cameras emitted damaging rays, the Bean would be toast!!

I don't think I could be dragged away from this object, if your fascinating shot is anything to go by!
Hey, I didn't get to see this! I didn't even hear of it...thanks for the link. Your picture is picture-perfect.

The Navy gets the gravy, and the Army gets the beans.... Love this capture, Maz. Reminds me of what I see after being on the computer for hours on end. This is what a city will look like after we earthlings terraform Mars.
I love it too, glad you made the effort to visit it.
How did you choose which one to post? LOL! That was such a fun place. The only thing that was on my list that I actually saw! :D
LOL... Gosh Marilyn - you are taking me back to my Chicago visit! I also shot an obscene amount of images of the "Bean"... like you say - from ALL angles! Great one! Funny - I have a VERY similar shot! grin
You could most likely fill up a memory card playing around with this...and every image so different..
It looks like something that could present itself differently ever time you look ae it.
Da bean! Yeah...that IS Chicago's major photo op! No matter how many times you go to see it, it's there, looking different...and that's a part of the joy of it. You captured so much here and I love that! What a fun shot!
The magical glass ball... Interesting shot. Aloha

I'm one in the love it camp, though when my sister and I were there it was being cleaned and you couldn't go under it. :o( Another reason why I want to go back! Excellent shot!
