Description
Took a picture of a Model-T Ford truck on Friday, removed the body and used a recognizable stylized filter. Hope you like the result.
By the time Henry Ford ceased production of the Model-T in 1927, more than 15 million were built.
1908-1913 (pre-production line) it took an average of 725 minutes to build a Model-T.
1913 (new plant and production line) time required dropped to 93 minutes per Model-T.
By 1927 (last Model-T year) a new Model-T was rolling out the door every 24 seconds.
Bill:)
Note: The little sign you can't read behind the headlight says, "Please Do Not Touch".

OK now this is up my alley...lol I LOVE this post Bill...and you totally did it justice with your filter! Awesome work! OK, I won't touch, sigh lol
I like it, great work!!!!!
Stunning photo and superb photoshop skills, you are going to have to host a work shop for us all. I will bring the cookies if you will show us all your techniques. :)
What fun! Makes a rather 'seasonal' image!
Fantastic work! It look's cool like this, make's it look like a trophy. :)
Love it! My Dad has a Model-T truck (shortbox). A very nostalgic image for me; I'm from the heart of Michigan. Thanks for sharing this:)
Awesome work you did on this Bill and incredible stats for Model T.. WOW - Brilliant! :)
And I bet Henry would like this to...
Wow--not only is your foto stunning and the postwork superb, the info is astounding---talk about progress--!!
Cool photo, postwork and information.
MY FIRST CAR WAS A FORD COUGAR 1976 ;-)
fine ..
Fabulous photo and postwork on this motoring icon, good job. Whenever I see a model 'T' I always think of 'Stanley and Lizzy' from the Disney Pixar 'Cars' Movie! I've been a process engineer in my time and fully understand the importance of the production Takt times quoted. Old 'Henry Ford' certainly set new standards in mass production. P
Very lovely work on this Bill very nice filter work also, Lovely old car. Excellent!!
How wonderful you have made this lovely old car look in fact you have made it look quite racy.
Fine rendition of the first production line auto, Bill. Glowing edges filter? I still see these oldies but goodies at various auto shows, with many having been customized.
at the last car show I went to one car had a sign that said "feel free to touch, but be gentle.I am getting very old".very creative post work
Excellent. I like the filter results. As a small child I remember that we had a Ford Model T. I can also remember a few not too nice words when Dad cranked it and the engine didn't turn over.
great info and wonderful photo!!!
I enjoy the info! I never realised that there were that many produced. Well done, Clive
