Description
An experiment in blending a Ken Gilliland Heron and a Dinoraul Utahraptor. Trying to get what I guess would be called a real Early Bird. Meaning, one of the first birdlike creatures, Archaeopteryx.

You are a great GENIUS !!! EXCELLENT and Creativ !!!
As always I love your ideas!! Excellent creature!!
Killer feathers and pose. Really nice.
Actually, I think you came fairly close to how they think they looked! I suspect that the legs and neck are a bit longer than those of the real thing.
Very cool! Excellent blending of the two creatures!
he's thinking "I'd rather be flying than jogging, my feet are absolutely killing me!" great render - love the feather detail.
Here kitty kitty, well done!
Fantastic blend, Dave! Corrie
Great result, a very convincing Archaefrogterix! Rhetorical question: Why did the Chickensaur cross the road? ;)
An interesting form of play, learning, and experimenting.
