Description
Another window in Chicago.
There is something about this that makes my heart sing! It's so stunningly simple, so elegant, with just the right amount of detail, just the right artistic touches.
It appears that these windows actually open, a feature lacking in many more modern windows.
Everyone likes something different, and this really does it for me!

This a great shot of a beautiful window!
I simply love this POV and the colors! This is extremely elegant, like a somewhat minimalist version of ancient Egyptian artwork: the wonderful bas relief details, the neutral sandy color, accented by crisp and sharp blue/green. This whole image just rocks, and it's going into my favorites. And for some reason, windows and doorways seem to be on my mind a lot, but I have to say that I'm actually glad that there are no disembodied heads poking out of this beauty!
The styling is really unique. I love the bands of art that adorn it.
Lovely capture of this beautiful window.. love all that work on the window sills too and to the blocks, well done so nice..
very fine shot.
Beautiful window - Chicago certainly seems to have its fair share of amazing architecture!
I do remember this one and you're right, it's simple, elegant and fairly glows with beauty!!
Whow ! This is such a beautiful window indeed. A peace of art itself. Excellent shot.
Exquisite! It is indeed elegant, the very best word for this sort of design. And I love the way that tall building reflection is confined to the one panel, and all that sky in the others! So there are some lower buildings in Chicago, too.
It's the curve and near perfect symetry. And there is an insert under the window that seems to have been thrown in as a bonus. Great capture Tara.
What I like in your shots you show the detailes. If I would walk on the street I would recognise them. Another excelent window.
Elegant indeed! What a great piece of design and a wonderful image Tara! I love it! :)
nice architecture
The architect of this building has obviously applied his/her understanding of all the modern visual design elements and principles. And he/she has been successful because so many of us are applauding the outcome here. Of course I had to do some looking around to see if I could find some sort of a listing of these things...here's one such list. Visual design
