Description
Ever been nose to nose with a German World War II submarine before?
Pulled U-505 from my files once again to see what could be done with this unique subject.
Don't ask me what the large hole in the nose is for...anybody know? Torpedoes are fired from tubes further down.
Bill:)
As many of you know from earlier postings here, U-505 is on display in Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry.
