Description

I had just finished this one (photo manipulation or collage? I chose the former), when I learnt that it was Monica(mgtcs)'s birthday. So I tought: what better than pomegranates, a very ancient symbol of plenty, and immortality? The fruit sacred to Hera (Juno), the goddess queen of ancient Greece, a fruit important to many other religions? FELIZ ANIVERSARIO, MONICA!!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Thank you for your kind comments.

Beautiful capture of this rich-looking harvest, almost like a still-life on canvas, through manipulation... Cheers BB

Sandra it is a very beautiful manipulation and like all of your art you put so much thought into it and that is what makes it so special.

They look neat but I've never known what to do with them...cut 'em open and eat the seeds?

I made pomegranate jelly a month or so ago and was giving jars of it away today...and look what I see? LOL Great minds think alike. :-) Gorgeous realness here and such a pleasing display.
