Lost in mind jumble
Trying to figure stumble
Out what needs inside
To grow and love somehow
Thus attitudes shift
Drift upon shadows
As the breeze turns the wind
A look begins to realize
Directions ahead
That every way
Can imagine too try
This too tries too hard
As thoughts move
Soft spoken which
Swishes the switch

The second verse is my favorite. I can feel the stumble ... well written! I love the image. After flying for the first time over the Midwest, I have a new appreciation for "flat."
