Description
Continuing the Coyote Buttes Wilderness trek, beginning in my gallery on July 25th. Wanted to share a couple of snap shots along the top of the mesa before arriving at... what I think is the most amazing formation of all.
The coyote buttes set the background of this sandstone out cropping. It is early May and there were many pools for subjects.
Thanks for the comments and favs on the last post. :~)

Magnificent capture
Breathtaking view! Great capture!
This is an amazing sight. The sandy outcropping and the pool below mirroring the strange lines of the rock. You have easily shown the desolation but brought a familiarity to it with the water and reflection.
superb capture!
Fabulous...I look forward to more.
Fantastic landscape (and reflection) which you captured very well!!

Excellent! I never imagined pools of water there.
really impressive.
fantastic flame and photography^^*************
Gorgeous setting to explore. Where to start?!! Excellent image.
Beautiful color, detail and reflections! The formation in the front is fascinating, with all the fat column like shapes, intriguing hollows and the lower section that looks like poorly stacked plates. And the most amazing formation is still to come? Wow!
wow very great picture
Wow, super capture...for all the reasons noted above. I am thinking of some sort of a photo trip into the southwest in the spring of 2010. I'll have to see where this Wilderness trek is located.
Great reflection and colors! Fantastic capture!
