Description
We were very lucky on Sunday to see the lions at the Lion Park being fed. After the initial frenzy and fighting over the food, things pretty much settled down and this lioness actually allowed the cub to join in the fun. It is not her cub... The mom and three other siblings were a couple of meters away from this female. This little one kept wandering off and I shot such neat images that I will upload in the next couple of day of mom disciplining him!!!
Thank you for your comments and favs on the King upload. Make sure to stay tuned for many more lion images!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

I really like the composition, Carin. I am sure you had little choice in this regard - not about to get out the car - the trees and DOF work very well! Cheers, Clive

The type of scene almost unseen by most of us. Huge bone...any idea of what these lions are feasting upon?

I have never seen a lioness or lion for that matter being fed. I love the fact that she let another s cub dine with her. Nice capture, I can't wait to see more.
