Description
I had the most wonderful and successful photography day today! We visited the Lion Park again and I got the most amazing images! So people, prepare for another lion series... LOL...
This is the big boy - just after he fed on his way to steal a bone from a lioness!!! Grrrr.... ZOOM is definitely recommended for eye and mane detail!
Thanks for the click and your comments and favs on my Mulberries upload of yesterday!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

Oooh, look at those big feet! What a handsome guy he is! Great shot!
Very impressive - love detail you've captured ... almost makes you want to cuddle him!
Awesome shot! This is really cool. Nice detail!
You've got to be kidding, right? You can't be serious...this is way too close, way too clean and way too awesome! You really and truly risked your safety to get this?? Amazing!
WOW fantastic, I love his eyes
WOW! IT looks like you were right there</> in front of him...Were you? At any rate, wow...this is just stunning. And like any cat, he looks as if he simply cannot be bothered to care! Cats are such wonderful creatures, and they're also big thieves! Oh well! I love the details here, the colors, the whole composition. This rocks.
The Emperor has no clothes! Overwhelmingly stunning and superlative capture of Simba, the King of the Jungle, replete with a ton of hair, in this grand composition, Carin! Perhaps by chance, it radiates a golden, sepiatone effect.
Awesome capture of the King!!! I really love the color of his eyes, and those paws are just huge!!!! He's so incredibly huge,....Can you imagine cleaning the litter box after these guys? WOW!!
Fantastic shot! Can't wait for the series!!!
beautiful big cat and outstanding shot
Nice shot Carin. He looks positively cuddly but I have some doubts :)
Fantastic image! He is indeed the King; and carries himself as such... that marvellous, regal look in his eyes.... Excellent composition and I marvel at the bravery! :)

Excellent capture and so majestic looking
Wonderful photo.
Wonder who does his hair:-) He's a beaut!
You know my Beautiful he is not the King for nothing. Majestic and it owes of to be strongest if not parks with him it will lose its offspring. Cheer and mile mercies. Beautiful catch ((5++)) Tu sais ma Belle il n'est pas le Roi pour rien . Majestueux et il se doit d'être le plus fort sinon gare à lui il perdra ses progénitures . Bravo et mile mercis . Belle prise ((5++))
Great, looks like this was your Mane shot.
There is so much raw energy in these beasts. Something else to hear them roar too. It was awesome to hear while sleeping in a tent at camp in the Kruger Park! Great capture of the King! Clive
