Description
Mark, Tara and I were on our way to Lake Michigan, using one of the pedestrian tunnels. I heard music, and here was this young man playing his violin. Just another wonderful piece of what makes Chicago such a great place.
I'm back in California at my sister's--what a whirlwind trip this was. I think I got about 10 hours sleep the whole time we were there, last night maybe 2. It was magic, meeting these people I've been emailing and connecting with for so long. Chip, Mark, Corey, Cheri, Dave--you all just rock--what a blast I had. LOTS more fotos soon--I just HAVE to sleep!!

I'm about toast, too! LOL! Excellent capture. I haven't really looked at my similar shots yet, but we were standing in different places (and have such a different vision anyway). I'll be interested to see what we saw that's the same and what wasn't!
Fantastic image Marilyn and so are the rest of your Chicago uploads so far! I'm glad you guys had such an awesome time! I'm looking forward to the rest of the images! :)

A SUPERB pic!! A perfect compo.
Magnifique !
excellent
excellent !
fantastic!
Poster art quality. The lighting really makes this photo. I must agree, there is no place in Leavenworth, Kansas that I'd find a similar scene. Big cities just produce for you if you have time to walk around:)
Awesome shot Marilyn!
Xcellent human interest photo!

Stellar!
Looks like we missed way more than I would've liked! I don't recall even seeing any pedestrian tunnels. I am still so grateful for having had the opportunity to meet you all in person. Sleep well M'lady, I'm sure that my mom will, now knowing that there are others like me out there, off the wall, different way of looking at things. I love it!! Good night!
Un'immagine molto bella! A very beautiful image!
It does sound like we missed a bunch. Next time, there has got to be a next time we'll plan it out a bit better and then just whoop it up, LOL. Great capture. It was awesome getting to meet you in person and just hanging out.
It's a wonderful picture, Marilyn, nice angle, nice light, and the outside pouring in on the very far left...and the mood of this guy playing alone in the tunnel. It's not often that I can look in these galleries and say I "saw" what you guys captured. I saw this & you caught the mood beautifully. Did you talk to this guy too? He talked to Tara for a while, going into the relative merits of recorders (the instruments) and other things. And he played very well too. Really nice shot of a solo musician playing for money; and of an urban tunnel in all its grunge; and the light that happens as the outside world pours in. Glad you posted this...now to wait for Tara's version...
fantastic night " stollen" immage
I really like the way you captured the monet. Congrats! Rodrigo.
