Description
A very acrobatic little bird when you watch one walking up, down and all around a tree trunk. Makes me think that gravity doesn't have much effect on this short tailed little guy.

Awesome capture, I missed your birds. You capture them so well. This is beautiful.
Yes!! These buggers are pretty cool to watch! My parents have these guys on their feeders...very cool close up Bill!
One of my favorite birds to watch. I love seeing them walk head down, circling their way down the tree looking for bugs under the bark as well as seeds that may have been hidden. And their colors are so pretty.
Wonderful capture Bill, excellent well done....
I have nissed the wonderful bird pics too, Bill, so good you are well.

Beautiful catch Bill, with the food in his beak. Needs a toenail trim. Dana

Wonderful capture. Reminds me. The grackles have taken to the safflower now that pickin's are slim. Go figure!

Caught in the act! Fine shot of the Nuthatch doing what it does so well, Bill! Little did it know at the time that it would be seen round the world.
beautiful bird Bill.
I love these little guys! Great capture!
Super image. Hadn't really noticed his "shorts" until Andrea mentioned them. Wonderful.
What a cute little guy with his fluffy little legs. An excellent photo.
Great shot, with the seed. Nicely captured!
gorgeous capture!!!!
glad to see you up and about. Take it easy. Wonderful capture.
Very nice capture. :)
Now thats one I didn't see, Bill.. A really cool shot.. Wonderful colours.. A gem to watch I bet... Keep on the mend, my friend.. Rob
Nice shot Bill! I have not had much luck with the safflower seed and I have mostly attracted morning doves which can eat up all the seed in no time. I have had some blue jays and others stop by but the morning doves scatter all the seed before other birds can get there...
Cool! Very different to the Nut hatch we have in the UK ours are more brown/redish.
