Description

Playing with filters again ... There are loads of ways to separate foreground from background. I isolated the flower in this image and postworked the sections separately. This is too much fun! :D The day we went to MooseRidge, we started out at Cindy's place, wandering through her garden. The dahlias were just starting, and this lovely single yellow variety was irresistable!

Oh, I love postwork, and I really need my own computer with Photoshop--the latest version C3 or whatever. It's just too much fun, especially dealing with the "smart sharpen" feature. As for this photograph, it's stunning. It looks incredibly alive and wonderfully detailed. The color is fantastic and the organicness of it just rocks! It makes me want to take my camera out and go get stock photos to do all sorts of things to! Great stuff!

This is great! It looks like a painting, or something hyper detailed, like one of those Japanes manga, where someone's hair has so much sharp detail! This is really cool! I like it a lot!
