All is well with me if you just remember some very basic and simple rules - Don't mess with my family! Don't come on my land with the intent of doing them harm! The borders of my land, is my domain, family and friends that enter here, know that they can consider it, their sanctuary! Any coming in to do them harm - well then - that is where I cease to be, a simple man. Where things can in the blink of an eye, become complicated, when either of those simple rules are broken."

Really first rate work all around on this image and the story that it mirrors. Of course I'd expect nothing less from you Mercy as you never disappoint. Your characters really take on a life of their own here when combined with your writings and I can't wait to go read the story of Shawn McPherson.

I have to agree with Shawn. We have 100 acres and own 1/4 mile of a free flowing river that is my wife's families holding from when the Dawes Commission divided up Indian Territory. I'm very protective of the land and agree with Shawn that, as a simple man, I can make things very complicated if anyone threatens the sanctity of our space. Excellent image as always.

I hope Mother Nature heard his warning, he seems like a bad ass - LOL... I don't think anyone screws with Mother Nature, so hopefully she thinks he's a nice guy, because no matter how bad ass he thinks he is... he'll get bitch slapped by Mother Nature - LOL.... hope you got a chuckle. Nice art.
