Description
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21F
Second in a series of Impressionistic aircraft views. You all will have to put up with several more of these as I am finding them a lot of fun to do:-)
This MiG is on static display at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
For All:
In the spring of 1966, The North Vietnamese Air Force (VPAF) began flying the MiG-21. The MiG-21 quickly proved to be a worthy opponent of the US Air Force's F-4 Phantom. Impressionist #1
For Aviation Enthusiasts:
The MiG-21F (NATO code-name "Fishbed") was a short-range day fighter-interceptor and the first major production version of the popular MiG-21 series. The E-5 prototype of the MiG-21 was first flown in 1955, and it made its first public appearance during the Soviet Aviation Day display at Moscow's Tushino Airport in June 1956.

Cool work, well done, rather looks like the aams have launched...
What kind of seeds are you using to draw in this species? Great POV and narrative. Dana

I'm loving these so far ... bring 'em on! I love the almost surrealistic mood you've created. Great stuff!
Well done, Bill! Like one of the models hanging from the ceiling in my bedroom at night... a good few years ago! Cheers, Clive
Super stuff! It looks quite threatening!
You've done it again! This is what I call fine-art photography.
Kind off interesting to look at really, my friend.... Not quite as good as the real shot (for me!) but, its a great new idea... Cool.... Hope your doing O.K....... Rob.
Very imaginative and creative work, looks like I have some back tracking to catch the first ones, very nicely done!!!

The post work is outstanding Bill! Great series!!!
Fantastic work!!! It perfectly gives the sensation of power of that bird! Like it! ...ehi, just a moment there is a pink elephant inside the canopy? ;-D I hope everything is OK.
I think this and the first one would make great posters.
Monet does a Mig. Great view and fine postwork, Bill. I liked the Douglas A-20 and Curtiss C-46, too.
Great Light here ! Wowwwwww
This is when the seagull says, "It's going to be clo...!"
I don't think I'd like to see that in my rear view mirror! Do planes have mirrors?
Superb capture and nice work...!!!!!!
I love these as it looks like they hanging in mid air, like they are flying at me.
superfabulous work! vastly effective!
Actually, 1385 mph. That is one fast mf. Stellar clarity and lighting effects in this impressionist series.
