Description
Yup, the birds are still coming to my feeder and enjoying the safflower seed:)
No grackles and only a very rare squirrel. Loads of finches... Haven't seen any blue jays for some time. It is interesting to see how the bird population shifts from the spring through the summer.
A ZOOM is worthwhile.

That's so cool Bill! I have put out some seed and have gotten some bjays to come by. But it's been raining so much, that my seed gets soaked! Nice shot as usual my friend!
nice capture
Wonderful shot of him 'noshing'!
Can see the tongue manouvering and tasting the seed. Great detail, Clive
Great shot!
I know they have lots of seeds for birds now, just wondering, what's Safflower seed? Not heard of that one, but its been a while since I've watched mom feed the birds...love this image Bill...beautiful shot!

An awesome capture and pose, beautiful work!!!
Good one, Bill. rarely see them with head tilted up - food must go down more easily.
This is a really great shot of this little guy.

Cheeky indeed--another great foto!!
Superb Shot !
Really nice capture. :)
What a sweetie! Those lovely subtle colors make me wonder how this would be in b&w. * Squints ... tilts head to one side ... thinks about b&w ... *
Excellent capture, well done...
Wonderful shot of this little fellow. They always seem to have their mouths full.
He is so beautiful, you always manage to capture them doing something other than posing.
superlative capture! it has very beautiful colors!

Stellar contrast, lighting and textures in this telephoto of the wee avian, Bill.
A sweet little bird. Cool photo.
Fantastic image bud, love the details!
Caught in the act!
Excellent capture, Bill!
A lovely capture and he looks to really have his mouth full. I only feed in the winter as most of the birds head inland for the summer and the crops.
Great capture. I have learned so much from your bird photos.
Great capture!
