Description
A nice little unpretentious monolith that is cantilevered in such a way as to make it possible for daring lovers to perch over the precipice, this formation in Shivers Canyon at Colorado National Monument is pretty in the late evening. This shot is dedicated to Roby. I haven't gotten to shoot many landscapes recently, so I hope this will be a nice beginning. More to come of Colorado National Monument, Black Canyon, and the Ouray area. I'd love to have gotten more, but I only had a few days to hit several sites. :)

Wonderful landscape!
great shot & lighting
Wonderful place and capture!!!
Times I've been to areas like this, I know if I only had a couple of weeks I could scout it for best time of day, best lighting, etc. and come up with some incredible shots. But I never seem to get the time to do that... You do seem to have gotten a great pov and the time of day is excellent for increasing the shadows in the rock's surface.
