I like! I see you've heard the rumor about black and white internet ... :P
LOL at Auntie... Great POV and it works very well in monotone Marilyn! :)
At first, I couldn't tell......then started to scroll down...and it all made sense. Interesting capture. Aloha
Nicely done. Experimenting is fun. Everytime I experiment, at least 1/2 the viewers, walk away scratching their heads. But how do you know what works if you aren't willing to try:) Well done.
A very striking composition!
Excellent job Maz.
An interesting capture done this way. Not the usual fire engine red one normally see.
Cool shot and post work!
Stellar POV, attained at high risk to yourself, Missy Maz! Reminds me of a scene from a 1950's movie.
cool work
Interesting B&W and I understand your POV and expanding structure as the eyes move down. Golden Gate Bridge opened for pedestrian traffic May 27, 1937 and vehicular traffic on the 28th. Dana
This is fantastic. You know, it reminds me of the cover to a William Gibson novel (All Tomorrow's Parties) but it's also distinctly different! Great work, it has a somewhat unreal quality to it, but that's where it works best. I think it's the almost iconographic nature off the picture itself...pure black and white always seems to shift the way you view something, because there's none of that color stuff to deal with or attach easily to, and you've gone one extra step and made this into something more like an illustration. This is great!!!
cool shot and the bw gives it a more dramatic mood x
Almost like a tilt-shift shot; I like this!
the b&w serves this well. (I really have to send you some of my b&w's by famous photographers.) Nice that you captured it to one side, and captured land to the other side with lots of sky. A piece of the high pillars of a great bridge, suspended in the sky. I hope you do more b&w, you do it with real energy, Marilyn. There are photographers even today who say that, when all is said & done, a great b&w shot is their best work because it's all about tone & light & shade and no more. It's an art. This has a sweep & mystery that color may not have allowed...
