Description
This very old jail was used for drunk people. They were kept in the jail from evening `till morning, with no lights or windows, and when they were left outside, they were blinded by the sunlight. That`s where the expression " blind drunk" comes from.
Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~)

Great shot! Again wonderful colors and textures!
Well, I'll be...never knew the derivation of the term before. This cell almost looks open at the top. Of course if it was dark out...still wouldn't be much to see at night:)
Wouldn't like to spend anytime in here! Excellent capture of this rare spot. Hugs. Spider. xx
What a charming place to spend the night, it would be freezing at night not that the drunks would have felt it, interesting information also! excellent.
Interesting door, excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
