Description
We're busy in the Okanagan Valley. We have three huge fires burning here, but across the lake from where I am, thank god! All you can smell outside is forest fire. This was taken out of my front room window. Shades of the 2003 nightmare fire are starting all over again.

I'm seeing the same from my viewpoint in Kelowna...on the one hand an awesome display of Nature's fury,on the other hand a devastating situation for those in the thick of it!
damn!
My Prayers are with you
Dramatic photo. I wish you well.
An excellent display of nature's power, I hope that it stays on the other side of the lake and away from you.
OH MY!!! I hope will be ok! Be safe, and prayers are with you, and that area!
Great shot! I hope and pray that you and your family are safe

É ASSUSTADOR VER UMA FLORESTA EM CHAMAS,ESPERO QUE VOCÊ NÃO MORE PERTO,QUE NADA DE RUIM ACONTEÇA COM VOCÊ E SEUS FAMILIARES. ESTEREI ORANDO QUE O FOGO APAGUE RÁPIDO.

Holy cow! I looked to the next post to see if everything was okay .. and you didn't mention anything, so I'm assuming you are safe. What a scarey feeling to have the fires so close after having been through it before. I'm so glad you are safe!
Excellent work!
