Description
This is just a variation on the second render in this series--as well as the last picture of this series. Condtion of fort is the same, but the location (terrain) is totally different. Wanted to give a sense of the encrouching sand slowly swallowing the fort. It may still stand, but it's going to get buried.
Thanks for your patience with this series and for continuing to stop by anyway. Thank you for past comments and any you make on this render.

The desert looks very real.

My favorite of the three!! Awesome image Jeremy!
#3 is the best of the series! I really like the look of the desert and the sandy haze.
Wow! I really love this one. It is my favorite too of the series. Really great setting and atmo here! 10+

you achieved this feeling very well, Jeremy
damn i build models too last, hahah, great work on that image, cool story.
Even better my friend.... A masterwork... detail is incredible. Rob.
I love the work.
Cool environment and sense of great age!!!
Looks awesome, great series
like the scene and lighting - gives it a worn and rusty look!
The Fort really looks old and abandoned; nicely aged. Those sand dunes really do look like they'll bury the fort eventually. I really like the hazy atmospherics, its the perfect touch. I look at this scene and my GameMaster's mind stirs within me!. It could be an epic scene, be it the crew in a ship approaching, or even crashlanding, or already crashlanded and after a tenous trek across the dunes, their thinly stressed hope is renewed once more. Where there is shelter, there may be food or water (fort sensibly built above a water hole), and a means of radio communication. Or perhaps, its a recon, scout, or supply ship passing through the system checking out or responding to an auto-transponder beacon. Or a supply ship returning, after theres been a catastrophic shift in the planets ecosystem, what was bountiful and flourishing, now a desert wasteland. Are there still survivors? And more importantly, what unknown dangers are lurking about? This is probably the most dramatic scene in the series, and I wanted to comment on this one first. For us roleplayers, this image definitely offers a ton of scenarios and adventure hooks. Not to mention could be set in any sci-fi genre, be it Aliens, Pitch Black, Starship Troopers or more. If only I had the time to start a group ;) I really need to get some of those sets btw.
Well...one notices the passing of time well in the series
I think this one is better, excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
