Description

Fred sat out on the ice for about 20 minutes and then I whistled for him. He started running toward me and took off right over my head. He made a couple of laps around the marsh, gaining altitude and then he was gone. It was a long season. Not the best scan, on this photo, but it has been sitting on my desk for over 20 years. An amazing connection to a bird. It is good to remind us that they can think, they can have trust, and they can remember. It is even better to experience that connection and we now know why you've had that photo on your desk for so long!
