Description
Lynx have short tails and characteristic tufts of black hair on the tip of their ears. They have a ruff under the neck, which has black bars (not very visible), resembling a bow tie. They have large padded paws for walking on snow, and long whiskers on the face. The body color varies from medium brown to gold-ish to beige-white; and occasionally, is marked with dark brown spots, especially on the limbs. All species of lynx also have white fur on their chests, bellies and on the insides of their legs, which are extensions of the chest and belly fur. Also, the lynx's coloring, fur height and paw size varies by its climate range. This Iberian Lynx is not so heavy set as other species, and is on the crictical endangered list.

Very good shot and presentation. Well done.
Fantastic photo!!!!! is this beautiful Luchs from a zoo or lives this in the wilderness?
nice looking cat and great capture of it, Nice shooting Dan.
Beautiful animal and capture!
That is a beautiful shot, these are reclusive creatures, and not easily captured. Great job.
What a gorgeous cat and it is so sad that the species is on the brink of extinction. Fantastic capture Danny... Let's hope they can be saved for generations to come!
Great shot here Danny, it really is a beautiful animal. Your detailed description was very well done here also and I hope they can be saved.

Excellent image!!
A-1 presentation of a most interesting subject. I didn't realize they were so endangered. Sure glad we're keeping track of such things these days!
A beautiful cat in a it's natural setting outstanding capture!!!
These cats are magnificient and though perhaps more difficult for the cat, winter and snows provide spectacular images in the wild...none of which I have shot but have seen. You have given us a fine detailed look at characteristics of the cat and an image very pleasing to view. Thanks for the added info and the fine photo of this beautiul and unfortunately endangered cat. Greed of man has seen to the demise and dwindling numbers of many wonders of this planet, the cats being a prime target.
Beautiful animal. Hope they populate more.... Aloha
