Quite a rush to this...particularly when zoomed. No swimming...dangerous undertow or is it undertoe:)

I loved it then as I love it now! The low POV is perfect adding more drama to the scene! I miss the ocean so much but will be in Durban for a long weekend early in August!!! That should be fun!!

Glad you posted this one. That is a fantastic shot of nature's awesome power with water.

Nice colorful surf!
superb image!
You do the seaside wonderfully and you always manage to capture the most dramatic waves. This is no exception. It's full of life and I can virtually feel the salty, ocean breeze. I love the blue! Great work.
superb wave
very powerful image, and I'm so glad you posted it alone, I loved it with your haiku. And yes, it's a rushing sweeping vision, but it's also peaceful in that any repeating waves, even if loud and crashing, have the effect of a mantra after awhile, and pull us back to something essential in ourselves. Your blues, whites & greens are quite stunning, and have the feeling of almost solid matter. Powerful and inviting, and perfect for the poem you gave us.
