This is a beautiful shot maz!, well done.
Very nice capture!
Beautiful capture of an exquisite flower. This one needs framing, Marilyn. It's str8 to my faves.
You're right, that really is a gorgeous flower. Excellent capture, I love the contrast between both the light and dark and the colours!
Exquisite! It looks a bit like flowers I photographed in namibia! I'll post them at some stage - then we can compare!!! :)
Whoa, what a knockout!
Gorgeous shot!
It's wonderful seeing all the stuff you 'snapped' on your hols! This is most unusual.
lovely capture Marilyn x f!
wonderful colors warm hugs, Linda
It has the same allure of the sweetpea family but perhaps not. Tropical flowers seem to have their own family. :-) Sweet and compelling pastels.
Lovely shot!
Wow this is beautiful
excellent!
Beautiful colors and contrast. Look how many buds are still left to dazzle others. Dana
Beautiful!! The flower form is so pretty. Nice capture!
This is gorgeous! I can almost smell it. Those bean-like pod thingies are beautiful and they add so much intrigue to the image. It's a flower, so naturally, I don't know what it is, but I like it.
Pure beauty. :)) Thank you for sharing the beauty you have captured. :)) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))
I'm skipping once again, but that's because I have to move on right now (sorry, though I'll be back!). I wanted to do this because I loved it as soon as you posted it. It's a very "marilyn" shot of plants, allowing all the strange & circuitous & oblique & mysterious twists & turns to exist, and capturing them boldly without interference. It's wonderful to see this move from top to bottom, through all its stopovers and detours. And the flowers & pods are strange & beautiful. And you got a good dark green background to set it off. Real Marilyn stuff, exotic but wholly natural, power-laden, and quite beautiful.
I tried calling a friend to find out the name of this flower but he doesn't know either. Sorry... Will have to visit the Botanical Garden... Aloha
Lovelies flowers
