Second version of Pulp Fiction, this time I thought I would try using a little smoke and mirrors :-) LOL. The multi hour render (done 2x!)reminded me why I have not done a reflecting floor in ages...they are beautiful, but oh do they try one's patience!
I used Tabala's Magic Metals texture pack in the material room to change DM's wall grate and the cage to a more metalic gold and silver respectivly and then dodged them in photoshop to give them a bit more sparkle. DM makes wonderful floors for doing reflection work because they have wonderful details. Here I added both a reflection node set to 0.7 and an alternate specular glossy node to give the floor a glossy reflective surface.
Thank you Valery (Godin) for letting me play with your wonderful character, Dena. I just love working with her, she is a perfect scrapper. And good grief talk about skin detail, I can even see the wrinkles in her kneecaps! Val, I hope you like this little 50's knockoff miniseries.

Beautiful action pose and excellent scene....superb render.....Bravissima*****!!
Great pov and wonderful 2nd take at this scene. Great character and love the smoking gun. Excellent setting... love how you put all the various elements together. The reflecting floor is great but I agree - it makes for long renders. :) Lovely lighting too.

Another fine example of this character and setting! The lighting is superb and I positively LOVE that reflective floor! Nice job Roxy!
VA-VA-VOOM, Roxy!!! Stunning work! Love the action and those reflections ROCK! (still haven't gotten the hang of those myself, but then, just lights like to conspire to kill my system...go fig). Outstanding image and a beautiful character! Nicely done!
I like the pose here and the reflections on the floor are beautiful indeed (only you can tell if it was worth the hours of rendering, but I think so). Great picture!
Great work...Hugs
Beautiful pose and angle... Fantastic scene!
Fantastic image
First of all, let me just say that after reading the title of your render I was so happy to see that it did NOT include some giantassed needle sticking in someones chest...yuck! Posing is great. I really like the satin of her dress and how it matches her hair color so well.
I love the over all atmosphere to this Roxy...Great looking character and I like how the floor gives off that slight reflection...well done!
