Description
OK, here's the story of this picture. Many, many years ago before it was possible to play games on computers, we had these things called board games which used dice and playing pieces. For my own amusement I used to write board games and design and build the playing pieces. I designed a series of science fiction figures called "Mech-A-Necks" and built about 200 from scratch for the game which was played on a huge board.
A few weeks ago I asked a very good friend of mine if he could convert my old playing piece designs into computer models I could use in Poser and this he has done for me and here you see the results.
There are at the moment four types of "Mech-A-Necks", a warrior class (all guns and armour), a technical class (one gun, one manipulator arm) and a General who carries a huge gun. My friend also designed and built for me a damaged version of a Mech-A-Neck and in this picture you can see all four types.
The General has just arrived on a recently taken planet during the Mech-A-Neck Wars and is being greated by the troops.

This will make a great image on the game box.. When will it be on sale..? Very nice work.
Very cool! I used to design my own flat, hex-based war games, but never got as far as the neat plastic you've recreated here.
